Impossible is Impossible

This blog is my way of reflecting upon life. Life is about living and learning. As I live and learn I’m going to reflect upon this life I lead. Hopefully I'll offer something insightful with my postings. If you learn nothing else from me, know this that “impossible is impossible”.

A Thought

I'm sitting here preparing to go to work reading and listening to music. This line from Scott Poulson-Bryant's "Hung" made me think, "And what is manhood if not a complete and embarrassing grasp of your own insecurities in the face of others?" Could someone have gotten me this memo before I was say 23?

So I Think I Love My Wife

Yes, you read that right.

I think I love my wife, no not my life, though there's days when that's grand too.

Somewhere out there is thinking he's married, when the heck and who the heck was he dating.

I'm not dating anyone, and haven't been for a minute, but I have a work wife.

I know, I know for some the idea of the work spouse is a little strange, but if you read the Wikipedia page, you'll learn a bit more.

Some of my friends see the innocence and a basic upgrade on a platonic friendship.

Still others see it as a dangerous trend where people are destined to catch feelings, and someone's going to get hurt.

Lucky for me, me and my wife have an understanding. We're just friends who are free to see other people.

But when we're at work we're down for each other. And when we're apart we don't call each other to whisper sweet nothings. We Blackberry message each other to make sure the other's okay.
